Circa Sports is at the phase in its Circa Survivor professional football contest where a prize pool of $9.3m is up for grabs for the remaining four entrants.

As the contest approaches its final stages in week 17, each of the remaining entries holds an estimated value of $2.3m.

Split into weeks 16A and 16B, the entrants had to carefully choose games on specific days, with Circus Master, Indiana Jet, LAJoneser and Jax Jags emerging as the last contenders standing.

The moment arrived during the Sunday Christmas Eve game when six hopefuls placed their bets on Denver's victory over New England. Despite a comeback from Denver, a last-second field goal by New England ended the Circa Survivor journey for those participants.

On the subsequent Monday, all four remaining contestants chose Philadelphia against New York, witnessing Philadelphia's triumph securing the advancement of all four participants.

Compared to the previous year, where 11 out of 14 contestants were eliminated during the holiday week, the current situation sees teams like Cleveland, Denver, Indianapolis, Chicago and Minnesota dominating the conversation for week 17.

Circa Sports recently expanded its presence into the Illinois market through a collaboration with Full House Resorts, launching Circa Sports Illinois. This expansion includes a mobile app and a brick-and-mortar sportsbook at the American Place in Waukegan.

The company's portfolio spans various states like Nevada, Colorado and Iowa, offering contests like Circa Million IV and Circa Survivor. Additionally, Circa Resorts introduced voice-activated services at Circa Resort & Casino in Southern Nevada through a collaboration with Amazon's Alexa Smart Properties.
