Sportingtech has recently named Tom Ustunel as its new CEO, a move aimed at spearheading the company's expansion in the year 2024.
Ustunel, who has been with Sportingtech for the last two years, has held leadership positions at various companies in the industry, including Chief of Gaming Operations at GameAccount Network (GAN) and Betting and Gaming Director at News UK.
Ustunel said: “Sportingtech has been on an incredible trajectory in recent years, and 2023 saw unprecedented success which we are looking to not only replicate, but also build on.
"I am thrilled to be working with such a talented team of people across the entire business during what promises to be an exciting time as we look to further cement ourselves as the go-to provider for operators."
The company's decision to appoint him as CEO aligns with its plans for growth in the Latin American (LatAm) market in the coming year. This strategic move also coincides with several internal promotions.
This announcement follows Sportingtech's previous appointment of Michael Jack as CTO in September 2023. Jack, with over 15 years of industry experience, joined as part of the company's efforts to expand across Brazil and other Latin American markets.
Sportingtech has actively pursued partnerships in the region, including delivering its Quantum sportsbook platform to operators in Brazil and collaborating with Evoplay for a library of games popular in LatAm countries.
