Brazilian light heavyweight UFC fighter, Johnny Walker, has become the latest brand ambassador for iGaming developer Spribe.

Walker is now the third UFC fighter – following on from Alex Pereira and Merab Dvalishvili – to undertake the role of promoting Spribe’s flagship crash game, Aviator, to players across the globe. Drawing focus on his home nation of Brazil, Walker is now set to take part in a number of promotional marketing campaigns as part of Aviator’s latest Latin American engagement strategy.

This new deal acts as part of a wider collaboration between Aviator and the UFC, which also contains a sponsorship deal that sees Aviator’s branding materials appear on all Fight Night and Pay Per View events.

Originally launched in 2018, Aviator now has over 12 million monthly players. Spribe will be hoping this deal further enhances the game’s engagement in the Brazilian market. This latest move to help boost awareness of Aviator in the LatAm market comes after Spribe received authorisation to introduce the crash game in Panama in January.

Giorgi Tsutskiridze, Spribe CCO, said: “Our partnership with UFC is proving to be a huge success, in particular the ambassador fund that we have set up. Athletes such as Johnny have a massive following in our core markets and this particular deal allows us to make further inroads into Brazil.

“Aviator delivers the fast-paced, high-octane action that UFC fans enjoy and with Johnny on board, we can make more players aware of the game and the explosive gameplay it has to offer.”
