Provider BetGames has announced the appointment of its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Giedrius Vegele.
Following his new appointment, Vegele has moved on from his latest role as CTO at Metasite. During his tenure at the financial services and telecommunications organisation, he assisted in the company’s expansion in the financial sector across the UK, EU and US markets. Additionally, he has also served as a Senior Engineering Manager at Rocket Software.
Now, he will be hoping to utilise his previous experience to help guide BetGames’ Technology department, as the provider has set upcoming targets for commercial growth.
Commenting on his appointment, Giedrius Vegele, CTO at BetGames, said: “I am very excited to join BetGames. They are among the most forward-thinking providers in the industry, and I am looking forward to helping them amplify their presence through optimised product development.”
Since the beginning of the year, BetGames has sought to enhance its brand recognition across a number of jurisdictions, partnering with Betano in the Brazilian market in January. This move was followed by the announcement of a partnership extension between itself and STS in Poland in July.
More recently, last week, the provider partnered with 10bet in South Africa – integrating 14 of its gaming titles to the 10bet platform.
BetGames CEO Andreas Koeberl commented on the company’s appointment of a new CTO, saying: “We are delighted to welcome Giedrius to the BetGames team. He has a proven track record building and implementing best-in-class product solutions and is the perfect person to drive our product expansion from a technical perspective.”
