Key points:
- This latest update closely follows Copybet’s first horseracing event sponsorship with Ascot Racecourse, which was announced last month
- Burke will continue to engage with players via a range of content as part of his continuous role as CopyBet brand ambassador
CopyBet has announced an extension to its pre-existing brand ambassador arrangement with Irish jockey Jonathan Burke, who originally joined the orgnaisation in October 2023.
The partnership renewal sees Burke continue to brandish the CopyBet logo on the front of his racing kit and engage with players through social media takeovers, Q&As and additional interview content on all major horseracing events.
CopyBet will be pleased to secure a contract extension with what was its first ever horseracing brand ambassador, on top of the announcement of a similar contract renewal with former Irish international goalkeeper Shay Given in June. Earlier this year, the company also partnered with Queens Park Rangers to become the club’s official front-of-shirt sponsor.
Commenting on his new partnership extension with CopyBet, Burke himself said: “I am delighted to extend my partnership with CopyBet, and continue providing customers with insights into the world of horseracing.
"The announcement of the CopyBet November Racing Weekend at Ascot demonstrates CopyBet’s commitment to the sport, and I look forward to proudly representing the brand at one of the most prestigious venues in the world.”
This point was built upon by Anton Ivanov, Business Development Director, CopyBet UK, who said: “Jonathan continues to prove himself as an extremely talented jockey, and we look forward to following his progress as he embarks on one of the most exciting journeys of his career with Fergal O’Brien. His success is a testament to his hard work and dedication.”
