The XY Legal Solutions-run affiliate compliance initiative extends its EU outreach.

QMRA expands affiliate compliance quality mark into Italy

Key points:

– Italian affiliates will now have full access to compliance consultancy and company reports

– The XYLS-run organisation seeks to expand in Europe following recent launches in North America

The Quality Mark Regulatory Assurance (QMRA) programme has announced its latest launch in the Italian market, with affiliates registered in the region now able to join the organisation.

Following its launch in February of 2024, the QMRA now yields over 90 member companies across a number of global jurisdictions. Operated by XY Legal Solutions (XYLS), the QMRA is the international variant of the XYLS run Responsible Affiliates Quality Mark (KVA), which was established in 2021 exclusively for affiliate companies in the Dutch market.

The KVA was incepted and launched immediately before the opening of the Dutch gambling market.

Currently, the QMRA services affiliates across a number of EU jurisdictions; namely Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Germany, Norway, Spain, Sweden and the UK.

Good to know: Italy marks the ninth EU jurisdiction in which the QMRA holds a presence following its initial launch in February 2024

Now, affiliates based in the Italian region can join the gambling compliance initiative programme for consultancy purposes. QMRA members can also opt in to receive an official compliance feedback report.

It has been a busy initial nine months of operation for the regulatory initiative, which launched its program in Ontario at the beginning of the summer – the QMRA is also live in the state of Michigan.

In August, the initiative sought further European expansion before announcing a new member company in Gentoo (formerly GiG Media) which added its websites, Casinoonline.dk and Casinon.com, to the program. More recently, the QMRA entered into a partnership with Sitebee (also formerl of GiG Media) last week for the integration of its legal knowledge into Sitebee’s compliance platform.
