Live casino supplier Imagine Live has unveiled the appointment of a new Group CEO, Martin Martirosyan, who initially joined the organisation’s parent company Digitain in 2023 as Deputy CEO.

Moving forward, Martirosyan will continue to act as Digitain Deputy CEO alongside his new position as head of the Imagine Live Group.

After gaining a PhD in Economics, Martirosyan spent 19 years working with HSBC Bank Armenia, starting as a Senior Corporate Relationship Manager and ending up as Director of Corporate Banking – a role which he moved on from upon his appointment at Digitain.

Digitain Group Founder Vardges Vardanyan spoke on Martirosyan’s appointment, saying: "Martin has played a crucial role in our growth success since he joined last year as Group Deputy CEO, a role he will continue to hold in conjunction with the Group CEO role of Imagine Live. As we strategically expand across various regulated markets, it is vital that we realign our leadership team and business unit structures.

“Martin’s extensive leadership and multi-jurisdictional market experience position him perfectly to lead our team, and with Imagine Live's exceptional performance in the premium segment of live dealer solutions, we anticipate remarkable expansion under Martin’s guidance, providing top-tier service to our B2C partner operators in high-value regulated markets."

Good to know: The Digitain Founder reflected on the company’s 2024 in Gambling Insider’s January/February magazine

Last year saw Imagine Live make a variety of expansive moves across the European continent. After expanding into Georgia and receiving approval from the Swedish Gambling Authority in August, the provider also penned a new partnership with Betera in Belarus in Septemeber. Most recently, however, the company launched its live dealer tables in Serbia via partnership with King.rs.

In related news, the organisation’s parent company, Digitain, also attained a licence from the Gambling Commission in September 2024.

Commenting on this latest announcement regarding his new appointment, Martin Martirosyan stated: "I am excited to take on the role of Group CEO. Imagine Live is poised for greatness, with operations expanding across continental Europe, the United Kingdom, and beyond.

"Our organisation exemplifies excellence in its leadership, culture and technology delivery, as evidenced by our numerous international and local industry peer-to-peer awards. I am ready to drive this next phase of Imagine Live's growth story forward."
