Key points:
- Internet Vikings and RubyPlay have partnered in the US
- RubyPlay will utilise Internet Vikings' bare metal servers near Atlantic City
Internet Vikings has partnered with RubyPlay, following the slot game developer's New Jersey debut.
As part of the deal, Internet Vikings will provide RubyPlay with its VMware cloud hosting solution, having already delivered the online infrastructure.
Its first order was deployed in one week, with future orders expected to be delivered the next or same day.
The expanded collaboration between the two sees RubyPlay opt to utilise Internet Vikings' bare metal servers, hosted in the provider's data center near Atlantic City. The system acts as a backup solution, allowing for smooth operations and better data security.
On the partnership, Internet Vikings CEO and Founder Rickard Vikstrom said: "We are proud to support RubyPlay's expansion and to deliver their infrastructure in such a short time. We look forward to a long-term collaboration with them."
In December, Internet Vikings continued its US expansion efforts, launching in Arkansas. This marked the 25th state in which the provider operates, with others including West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Kentucky. In August, the provider partnered with EveryMatrix in West Virginia, while in November it partnered with Spinomenal in New Jersey.

Indeed, the US is a critical point of growth for Internet Vikings. In the September/October edition of Gaming America, Vikstrom said: "At Internet Vikings, today, 75% of our revenues are in the US. We have increased 280% in the last two years just because of our US growth.
"It's been phenomenal... We're a small company from a small country that no one knew about three years ago - and we believe we have managed to become one of the most important players in the US gaming industry."
