Light & Wonder enters global distribution partnership with Playson

Key points:

– Playson has entered a new content collaboration with Light & Wonder

– L&W will now distribute Playson content in the UK, Canada & LatAm

As part of a new content distribution partnership agreement, Light & Wonder is now set to distribute Playson’s online gaming content across the UK, Canada and LatAm.

Indeed, Playson’s titles will now be included across Light & Wonder’s operator network across the UK, Canada and Latin America – with titles such as Supercharged clovers: Hold and win and 3 pot riches: Hold and win now available to players in these regions.

For Light & Wonder, this latest agreement closely follows the announcement of Simon Johnson as the new CEO of the company’s iGaming Division earlier this month.

Commenting on this latest news, Steve Mayes, Senior Director of Partnerships at Light & Wonder, said: “We are delighted to be working with such a highly respected digital entertainment provider and deliver their portfolio to our network.”

“This strengthens our commitment to offering operators the best game releases available. We look forward to other successful launches in 2025, as we continue to support our operators with diverse content.”

Building on this, Blanka Homor, Sales Director at Playson, said: “Our deal with Light & Wonder is a major milestone in our strategic roadmap, as we embark on the next chapter of our global growth.”

Good to know: Earlier this week, Playson also partnered with Titanplay in the Canadian market

“This agreement expands our reach and allows us to deliver our appealing titles to new operators and players. The launch of our titles across Dazzletag’s two brands is a great start, and we are confident this relationship will further elevate our presence in the ever-evolving online casino space.”

Also in January, the company sought to further enhance its UK market presence via launches with Flutter brands Betfair and Paddy Power – a move which followed an additional partnership with Gibraltar-based operator Lottoland in the EU market towards the end of 2024.

Light & Wonder also won Online Slot of the Year at the Global Gaming Awards EMEA 2025, with Squid Game: One Lucky Day.
