Accel Entertainment has announced the appointment of Scott Levin as Chief Legal Officer and Secretary. This will be effective immediately and he will oversee all legal affairs at Accel and report directly to CEO Andy Rubenstein.
Levin has over 30 years of experience as an executive and senior legal advisor in both public and private companies. Levin’s career includes leadership positions at FTD Companies, Morton’s Restaurant Group and Torex Retail. He was also the founder and managing director of Portco Advisors LLC, where he served as an executive advisor and outside general counsel to growing companies.
His appointment follows Accel’s recent development, which requires a legal background to manage regulatory compliance in the gaming industry. Additionally, the company’s current General Counsel, Derek Harmer, will transition to the role of Chief Compliance Officer, focusing on leading Accel’s compliance and government affairs functions.
