SIS extends Irish greyhound racing deal with GRI to 2028
Agreement secures more than 500 Irish races per month for the supplier’s 24/7 betting channels.
Key points:
– Three-year extension covers live and data rights from 10 Irish tracks, with more venues to follow
– SIS to continue delivering over 24,000 greyhound races annually to global operators
– Flagship events include the Irish Derby, Kirby Memorial and Winter Racing Festival
Sports Information Services (SIS) has renewed its partnership with Greyhound Racing Ireland (GRI) for a further three years, ensuring that Irish greyhound fixtures remain part of the supplier’s 24/7 live betting service until 2028.
The new agreement grants SIS the rights to broadcast more than 500 races each month from 10 Irish tracks, adding to its existing greyhound schedule for retail and online operators.
Additional venues are expected to be announced at a later date. Among the events covered are the Irish Derby, Kirby Memorial and Winter Racing Festival, alongside the Cambridgeshire Open 750, ‘Fair Warrior’ 400 and Kingdom Derby, still to run in 2025.
Paul Witten, EMEA Managing Director at SIS, said: “We are delighted to continue building on our strong partnership with GRI, broadcasting over 500 races per month from 10 tracks, with a series of new venues to follow.”
The deal maintains SIS’s output of more than 24,000 greyhound races per year, delivered as an end-to-end service that includes live streams, data feeds, on-screen graphics with betting triggers and a full market and pricing package for betting operators.
Good to know: In March 2025, SIS also extended its licensed betting office distribution agreement with Racecourse Media Group, securing UK and Irish horseracing content for retail operators to the end of 2028
GRI CEO Tim Lucey commented: “Our partnership with SIS has been instrumental in consistently delivering world-class exposure for Irish greyhound racing and we are extremely pleased to secure extended collaboration for the next three years.”
SIS has expanded its multi-content strategy over the past year, adding horse racing, esports and numbers games to its portfolio while upgrading production facilities through partnerships such as a recent multimedia deal with Betfred.
