Apollo has confirmed it has completed its $6.3bn acquisition of Everi and IGT’s gaming and digital division. The acquisition, which was first announced in July 2024, with the merger approved by Everi stockholders in November.
As part of the acquisition, IGT split its lottery and non-lottery operations. Its lottery operations rebranded and launched as Brightstar Lottery, with non-lottery operations merged with Everi to form the brand now operating as IGT.
On the completed acquisition, IGT Interim CEO Nick Khin said: “This is a defining moment for our industry. By uniting two leading organisations, we are building an enterprise with the scale, talent and technology to lead the future of gaming.
