Crown Perth has confirmed that construction has begun on-site to expand its dining precinct.
The multi-million dollar investment in Crown Perth is the biggest in over a decade and is part of a nationwide initiative to modernise several Crown properties.
The Urban Food District will be the key feature of the upgrades at Crown Perth and will offer a variety of international food potions, an outdoor beer garden and a hidden speakeasy bar.
Crown Perth also plans to keep the Urban Food District open until late on the weekends and feature local DJs.

The luxury wine bar has also begun development in Crown Towers and will be stocked with a curated selection of globally celebrated wines.
Brian Pereira, Crown Perth CEO, said: “Locals and visitors will soon have more options than ever at Crown Perth to grab a delicious and quick bite to eat, meet up with friends for dinner, or have a beer before or after the footy.
“Crown has been attracting new experiences, renowned restaurants and entertainment to the heart of Perth for 40 years – and we’re delighted to be expanding and reimagining this vibrant dining precinct.”

It is anticipated that these developments will create at least 150 jobs for locals during the construction phase, while hospitality roles will be available once the bars and restaurants open.
This initiative was only given the green light once the Western Australian Government found Crown Perth suitable to retain its casino licence following several years of investigations and improvements into business operations.
