Key points:

– Three suspects identified as administrators of Slotbola88, Inibet77 and Rajaspin88

– Over Rp887m (US$52,000) in cash and digital devices seized

– Main suspect allegedly recruited and trained others under instructions from overseas

The Indonesian National Police have arrested three individuals believed to be administrators for international online gambling platforms, as reported by ANTARA News. The platforms named in the investigation include Slotbola88, Inibet77, and Rajaspin88.

The suspects, identified by the initials MR, AFA, and BI, allegedly handled member deposits and withdrawals via bank transfers while operating from within Indonesia. MR is believed to have played the most senior role, overseeing all three websites and serving as the primary controller of Rajaspin88.

Authorities seized Rp887m in cash from MR, along with multiple laptops, mobile phones, ATM cards, and bank books. AFA and BI, who managed individual websites, were also found in possession of similar electronic equipment used to facilitate operations.

The police also named another individual, AL, as a fugitive. AL reportedly instructed MR to recruit and train the other two suspects, and had planned to relocate them to the Philippines for further involvement in marketing and operational tasks linked to the gambling network.

Good to know: The suspects face a range of charges under Indonesian law, including violations of the Information and Electronic Transactions Law, fund transfer regulations, criminal code provisions on illegal gambling and the Money Laundering Law

If convicted, they face a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison and fines up to Rp10bn.

This case developed following the arrest of five online gamblers by the Yogyakarta Regional Police on 10 July 2025, who were caught attempting to defraud gambling websites. Investigators traced these individuals to the broader gambling network.
