Boomerang receives YouTube Creator Awards for two channels with sport content

Both were awarded the Silver Button.

Boomerang Partners is actively developing the YouTube channel for Boomerang Bet, their flagship sports betting product. It aims to strengthen the brand’s trustworthiness and appeal to make it more attractive for affiliate teams to work with to drive traffic.

The company currently has two YouTube channels about sports: One German-language Boomerang Bet De, has 112k subscribers, and the other English-language Boomerang Sportsbook, has 162k subscribers.

Boomerang Sportsbook was the first to receive verification from the platform and the Silver Button for reaching 100,000 subscribers. In January 2025, the German-language channel Boomerang Bet De also surpassed the 100k subscriber mark, and has been honoured with the YouTube Creator Awards.

Growth in subscribers and views

Over the past nine months, videos on both channels have garnered more than 200 million views.  For all time, Boomerang has achieved remarkable milestones: Over 500 million organic impressions and 350,000+ organic subscribers across social media in less than a year.

The most popular among German-speaking subscribers were videos dedicated to football matches of EURO 2024, Champions League and Europa League. The leading short on the German-language channel was the video about the result of the EURO 2024 final. It reached more than 8,900,000 views. The project “Fußball, Was Geht” was also very popular with German users. It featured well-known local sports experts - TV commentator Michael Born, and former professional player turned coach Sebastian Kneissl.

On the English-language channel, the most popular videos were about EURO 2024 and English Premier League matches. A short about the EURO 2024 semi-final match between Spain and France garnered over 15,100,000 views.

The recipe for success

The successful development of YouTube channels is a mix of several factors: Constant monitoring of trends, focusing on important sporting events and continuous creative experiments.
