The 2017 CEEG conference took place in Budapest this week, with the awards voted on by the attending delegates. SBTech’s chief commercial officer Andrew Cochrane gave a key note presentation on the omni-channel player journey.

Its award follows the company announcing a partnership with Sky Betting and Gaming to supply a full sportsbook platform in Germany earlier this month.

In an statement acknowledging the award, Richard Carter, CEO of SBTech, commented: “The Central and Eastern European markets are vital in terms of realising our vision of providing software and services in every regulated market and we are absolutely delighted to have won the award for Best Sports Betting Provider at the 2017 CEEG. “

“As a company we’re very proud that the quality and depth of our product is recognised in this way and we look forward to expanding further in the region.”

Zoltan Tundik, founder and organiser of the Central and Eastern Europe Gaming Conference, added:”As the winner of the Overall Sports Betting Software Provider category, SBTech was voted for by almost 72% of CEEG delegates, which shows just what an overwhelming choice it was for the award. “

“We were really honoured to see all the major brands shaping the industry present at the conference and the awards ceremony and look forward to building on this key event for the region.”
