MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS
Drehkoff graduated from The University of Chicago, where he earned an earned an undergraduate degree in economics, along with an MBA.
Drehkoff is responsible for leading all RSG’s land-based operations. He also oversees mergers and acquisitions, capital market strategies and new developments.
Throughout his lengthy career, Drehkoff has spearheaded capital investments and debt financings across several gaming jurisdictions, totaling $2bn and $8bn respectively.
During his time as CEO, he has led the company into a strategic partnership with OPTX, a software company that provides recommendations and player data to casino operators.
Under the terms of the partnership, OPTX worked to streamline RSG’s casino data sources by combining them into a single platform designed to oversee RSG’s five land-based casino for the next three years.
EMPLOYMENT
Drehkoff has more than two decades of industry experience. For the past 20 years, he has worked for Bluhm and Rush Street Gaming. Prior to stepping into his role as CEO, he served as the company’s CFO from 2012 until May 2022.
Before his time with Rush Street Gaming, Drehkoff worked for LAMB Partners, Bluhm’s family office and held the role of VP.
PRODUCTS LAUNCHED
Under Drehkoff’s leadership, the company recently expanded its partnership with Konami Gaming to install Konami’s SYNKROS casino management system (CMS) at Rivers Casino Portsmouth. The permanent Virginia casino opened its doors in January 2023.
The duo has launched SYNKROS in five locations since establishing its collaboration, including Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady, Rivers Casino Philadelphia, Rivers Casino Des Plaines. RGS and Konami first installed the CMS at Rivers Casino Pittsburgh in 2009. Through the ongoing agreement, RGS delivers is Rush Rewards program across all of its Rivers Casino properties.
