The Tribal CEO also holds a high standard of education, having acquired a BA Degree in Business Management at the University of Phoenix between 1999 and 2001. Additionally, he also earnt himself a MBA in Business from 2004-2006 at Baker University.

Community endeavours the CEO has taken on are: being a Board Member with Meals on Wheels of Shawnee and Jefferson County from January 2011 to January 2014, where Tecumseh played a crucial role in providing nearly 600 home-delivered meals daily to individuals at risk of food insecurity, especially the elderly, homebound and disabled. His contributions went beyond meal provision, encompassing vital services such as nutrition screening, education and counselling, benefiting both recipients and caregivers.

In February 2023, he became a Commissioner with the Michigan Travel Commission, lending his expertise in economic empowerment to promote orderly growth within the Michigan travel industry.

Since February 2023, Tecumseh has served as a Board Member with Battle Creek Unlimited, aligning his focus on economic empowerment with the organisation's mission to assist new and growing companies in finding the resources they need for business development in Southwest Michigan.

Since January 2017, Tecumseh has been a Board Member with the Michigan Works! Workforce Development Board. In his role as an Executive Committee Member, he advocates for advancing prosperity through a skilled workforce and building stronger communities.

EMPLOYMENT

Tecumseh's career began in 1999 when he joined Federal Communications Group as a Benefits Specialist. In this role, he gained valuable experience in human resources.

In 2002, Tecumseh assumed the position of Director of Human Resources at Prairie Band Casino & Resort, where he dedicated 12 years of work. His leadership played a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing the organisation's human resources functions.

He then brought his expertise to FireKeepers Casino Hotel in May 2014, serving as the VP of Human Resources for eight years and nine months. During his tenure, he led crucial human resources initiatives that contributed to workforce growth and development.

Tecumseh's dedication to human resources and his wealth of experience led him to his current role as the CEO at FireKeepers Casino Hotel. Since taking on this role in December 2022, Tecumseh has been at the helm of the casino's operations.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, he has also been actively involved in various community and industry-related endeavours.

From January 2007 to January 2014, he served as Chairman at Johnson O'Malley. This non-profit educational organisation focuses on creating forums for discussing educational matters and developing standards of educational excellence for Indian students in the United States.
