Before joining Eureka Casinos, Carrier was COO at Golden Nugget, which he held for seven years beginning in 1999. In this role, he led operations for Golden Nugget Las Vegas. His tenure was marked by the successes of the venue, which received the AAA Four Diamond Award for 32 consecutive years.

EMPLOYMENT

While having worked in various key employee positions throughout the early and mid 90's at Sahara Resorts and Santa Fe Gaming, in 1999 Steve Wynn enlisted Carrier into the position of Golden Nugget Laughlin as President and COO. The resort and casino, located on the banks of the Colorado River, was successful under Carrier’s leadership.

Andre Carrier is now the CEO of Eureka Casinos, after holding the COO role for over 17 years. Carrier came to the position following his departure from Golden Nugget, which occurred in 2006.

In this position, Carrier serves as a key executive overseeing the operations of two Nevada casinos—the Eureka Casino in Las Vegas and the Eureka Mesquite Casino Hotel in Mesquite. His responsibilities include managing complex hotel-casino, food and beverage operations.

Eureka Casino Resort was founded in 1997 and became the first 100% employee-owned casino in Nevada in 2015 after it was sold. It features over 200 rooms and a resort pool as well as a William Hill sportsbook, which is the only official NFL sportsbook.

During Carriers tenure, in early 2019 Eureka purchased a New Hampshire greyhound racing track formally known as Seabrook Park. Carrier and his business partner Gregory Lee utilise the charity casino model in the operation of the venue. Now named The Brook, the venue has donated over $15m to over 100 local charities.

Eureka stepped back from the operation in 2019.

Carrier continues to act as key executive to the Eureka Casino in Las Vegas and Eureka Mesquite Casino Hotel.
