CoinPoker Introduces No-Limp Version of PLO to Speed Up Cash Game Action
The no-limping rule spurs a different kind of pace in this game of Omaha poker.
CoinPoker has expanded its Pot-Limit Omaha offerings with the launch of No-Limp PLO, a new cash game variant designed to increase action by eliminating one of the game’s most passive preflop options.
The new format removes the ability for poker players to limp into a pot. Instead, players must either make a pot-sized raise to stay in the hand or fold. Once the pot has been opened, the remainder of the hand follows standard Pot-Limit Omaha rules.
The rule change is intended to accelerate gameplay by creating larger pots from the outset while preserving the core mechanics of PLO, CoinPoker says.
No-Limp PLO has been added as a standalone game type across CoinPoker’s cash game lobby alongside variants such as Must Show and Bomb Pot, with dedicated icons identifying the format.
Pot-Limit Omaha games are available in four-card, five-card and six-card formats, at stakes ranging from $0.50/$1 blinds to $50/$100, always on five-handed tables.
No-Limp Omaha Offered to High Rollers, Too
CoinPoker has also introduced No-Limp PLO to its high-stakes VIP Arena, where the format will be offered at blinds of $50/$100 and $100/$200, with higher stakes available upon request for VIP members.
Players joining a No-Limp table for the first time will receive an on-table explanation of the “pot-or-fold” opening requirement before play begins.
The launch builds on what CoinPoker describes as an already-active PLO ecosystem. Earlier this year, high-stakes players known as “GucciNIKE” and “NV22” generated one of the largest online cash game pots on record, when a $2,500/$5,000 heads-up match produced a pot worth more than $2 million.
CoinPoker Keeps Introducing New Games
No-Limp PLO is the latest addition to a series of product updates rolled out by CoinPoker in 2026. The operator has also introduced Short Deck, All-In or Fold, Must Show tables, Bomb Pot games and six-card Pot-Limit Omaha, while expanding its CoinRewards program, which it said now distributes more than $7 million in monthly rewards.
The announcement comes as CoinPoker hosts the Battle of Malta Online series through Aug. 3, featuring a schedule of Pot-Limit Omaha tournaments, including PLO4 and PLO5 events with buy-ins ranging from $5.50 to a $530 PLO Masters High Roller Main Event.
