– The ‘Think With Your Feet’ programme fosters mental health dialogue through football, supported by Kindred

Middlesbrough FC (MFC) Foundation is set to take centre stage this weekend as principal partner Kindred Group donates its front-of-shirt sponsorship to promote the Foundation’s community initiatives.

During the upcoming match against Hull City on Saturday 30 November, the Unibet logo – ordinarily featuring Kindred’s responsible gambling message, “Zero% Mission” – will be replaced to spotlight the Foundation’s outreach work across Teesside.

This initiative coincides with MFC’s Foundation Weekend, an event dedicated to raising awareness of the Foundation’s programs that aim to improve lives across the region.

Kindred’s partnership with MFC also extends beyond sponsorship, with direct involvement in Foundation initiatives like ‘Think With Your Feet’.

This program provides a safe space for local men to discuss mental health while enjoying football, aiming to foster connections and open dialogue.

Good to know: Kindred’s relationship with Middlesbrough FC began in 2018 and is set to continue through 2027, marking one of the longest-standing partnerships in British football

Earlier this season, MFC star Isaiah Jones joined participants in a conversation about the program’s impact, which was captured in a video shared with fans.

Commenting on the decision to support the foundation, Sam Mead, Kindred’s UK General Manager, stated: “Our relationship with Middlesbrough FC and their Foundation is a long-running, deep and supportive one.

“We are all aware, and incredibly proud of, the Foundation’s incredible work in the North-East community. As such, we are delighted to once again donate our normal front-of-shirt space to the Foundation for this weekend’s fixture against Hull City.

“In the spirit of what this weekend is all about, we would urge supporters to seek out the MFC’s outreach programmes, if they feel they could benefit from the various initiatives on offer.”
