Come on! 888 Casino is returning to the Netherlands

Key points:

– ComeOn Group will operate Evoke-owned 888 brand in the Netherlands

– Partnership heralds the return of 888 to the Dutch market having initially ceased trading in the region in Autumn 2021

ComeOn Group and Evoke have partnered and released details of plans to bring the 888 brand back to the Dutch market after four years out of the region

Evoke, which owns William Hill and Mr Green, as well as 888, has opted to work with the ComeOn Group, which will operate 888.nl using its proprietary casino and sportsbook platform.

The collaboration means players in the Netherlands will be able to access slots, exclusive games, sportsbook odds and a variety of live casino tables, all furnished with the 888 branding.

Juergen Reutter is CEO at ComeOn Group and he celebrated the announcement by noting his pride at being entrusted with the familiar 888 brand.

He said: “We are honoured to be entrusted with the operation of 888, one of the most iconic consumer brands in gaming.”

Good to know: ComeOn Group is based primarily out of Malta but has offices across Europe, having initially started up in Sweden

Recently the ComeOn Group has made significant inroads into the Danish market, announcing in July a trio of sponsorship deals with Danish football clubs.

On the latest agreement with the operator, Evoke’s Director of Corporate Development said: “We are excited about launching 888 to Dutch customers and further expanding into regulated markets with a high-impact, low-capital partnership aligned to Evoke’s strategy.”

It remains to be seen exactly when the newly licensed operation will become active.
