DigiPlus Interactive has announced the launch of a new surety bond scheme in partnership with Philippine First Insurance Co., a move designed to enhance the financial security of players across its key platforms.
The initiative, now in effect, covers balances and wallet funds for users of BingoPlus, ArenaPlus and GameZone. The bond applies automatically to players who are eKYC-verified, have made a successful deposit and are compliant with platform guidelines. The coverage provides up to PHP 1m per user.
According to DigiPlus, the programme aims to reinforce confidence in digital gaming by ensuring players have recourse should platform-related issues affect their funds. The company has framed the development as a step forward in its broader push to deliver both entertainment and accountability in the growing online gaming space.

Chairman Eusebio H. Tanco said DigiPlus is the first in the market to offer this type of player protection, adding that it reflects a long-term commitment to customer welfare.
PhilFirst, which has been providing non-life insurance services in the Philippines since 1906, brings its experience in risk coverage into the digital sector through this partnership. The insurer says the collaboration is part of its mission to evolve alongside technological shifts while continuing to offer security for Filipino consumers.
The surety bond complements DigiPlus’ existing infrastructure, which includes 24/7 support and over 130 BingoPlus outlets nationwide.
