CEO
Playnetic
David Mann’s career in the gambling industry has reached incredible highs. The CEO of Playnetic has 15 years of industry experience. Following more than 6 years at Swintt, David began 2026 by taking on a new role as the head of iGaming market leader Playnetic.

David Mann’s time as Playnetic CEO saw the company achieve several major milestones, including the acquisition of Elysium Studios in 2024, going live in 12 regulated markets, enhancing mobile functionality through titles like I Hate Fairytales, and innovative new releases like Crystalium.
Overseeing Swintt’s commercial strategy, David Mann led with operational precision, a willingness to take bold steps, and a constant focus on identifying new opportunities.
David entered the gambling industry in 2014, with a three-year stint at Spigo, before joining Wazdan as Business Sales and Development Manager. Securing deals with LeoVegas, Groove Gaming, and other established operators ensured David’s time was a success.
Each new role brought a fresh perspective. Sales taught discipline. Business development taught patience. Global dealings taught cultural fluency. A reputation was built as a strategic thinker and a commercially astute operator. Reliable under pressure and driven without ego, Industry leaders began to take notice of David’s ability.
David arrived at Swintt at a crucial moment, as the company sought to drive further iGaming growth and market development by expanding into regulated markets.
Starting as Business Development Director in 2019, David relocated to Ta Xbiex, Malta. The role was a perfect fit for David’s sales experience and negotiation skills, as he focused on fostering new business relationships globally and identifying new opportunities.
Securing new partnerships helped push Swintt’s leadership and expansion influence into emerging regions. David’s understanding of operator needs strengthened Swintt’s B2B proposition. Overseeing marketing strategy, managing partnerships, and sharpening content creation became integral. Bigger things were to follow.
David spent 1 year and 8 months as Business Development Director before taking the role of Chief Commercial Officer in December 2020. A talent for understanding both granular details and the bigger picture made David a natural fit.
Things continued to go well for David, and in August 2022, he was named Swintt CEO, replacing the company’s former leader, David Flynn. He now holds a seat on the firm’s Board and focuses his attention on his role as CEO of Glitnor Group, Swintt’s parent company.
With regard to Mann’s takeover as CEO, Flynn said:
While I’m incredibly proud of everything Swintt has achieved during my time as CEO, David’s promotion means I couldn’t be leaving the running of the company in safer hands. Over the past couple of years, David has proven he has the experience and expertise to flourish in the role while driving further growth for Swintt.
2026 began a new chapter in the life of David Mann after he was appointed CEO of Playnetic with the goal of driving the next phase of their global growth.
It’s fair to say the relationship between Swintt and David has been successful, and his parting comments suggest it will be sorely missed.
It’s been quite a journey – from the early days of building the furniture and signing our first partners, to growing a team that pushed the Swintt brand into the market, expanding into new jurisdictions, and seeing our games live with some of the biggest operators in the industry.
David Mann now embarks on a new journey with Playnetic in 2026 and the outlook is equally bright. Dan Phillips, Non-Executive Director at Playnetic, said of David:
David’s appointment marks a new chapter for Playnetic. His strategic vision, proven leadership, and passion for innovation make him the ideal leader to guide Playnetic through its next stage of global growth. I look forward to working with him as we continue to establish the business as an industry leader.
While David himself said:
