Employment

Conrad had more than 20 years of experience in transactional sports rights at both the major professional leagues and at media companies. He personally had negotiated hundreds of agreements across multiple sports genres for both US and international markets.

His first major appointment was in 2000 with the National Basketball Association (NBA), where he worked as an Associate before becoming the Co-ordinator for international television in 2002.

Conrad would later go on to be the Manager of LatAm and US Hispanic Sales and Marketing for Major League Baseball (MLB), a position he would hold between 2004 and 2007.

At the end of his tenure, he accepted a role at ESPN as Director of Programming and Acquisitions, before being promoted to Senior Director in 2010.

Prior to Sportradar, Conrad worked for Univision from 2011 until 2022, where he was most recently Executive Vice President, Sports Programing and Acquisitions. His role there required him to build the network’s sports rights portfolio by securing partnerships with leagues and properties around the world including Fédération Internationale De Football Association (FIFA), Union of European Football Associations or UEFA, Concacaf, Conmebol and Major League Soccer.

Finally, in June 2022, Conrad would join Sportradar as the Managing Director of Strategic Partnerships in North America. In January 2024, almost two years later, he was promoted to Executive Vice President of Rights and Strategic Partnerships.
