MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS
Jentzen has held several senior roles across strategy and operations for global finance corporations. She previously served as Director of Strategic Initiatives at Deloitte, VP of Strategy for Global Operations Centers at Thomas Reuters and Senior VP at IGT.
During these roles, Jentzen achieved operational successes. She established a new real estate services group, efficiently managing 60 Deloitte consulting properties across the US & Canada. This role laid the groundwork for her subsequent leadership positions within Deloitte.
While in the role of Controller and Director of Operations at Deloitte, Jentzen received accolades for her work consolidating Atlanta real estate locations. As Leader of Real Estate Services and Director of the Strategic Initiatives Management Group at Deloitte, Jentzen provided strategic financial analysis and planning, fostering specialised consultancy teams in the US and India.
Jentzen has provided leadership in diverse domains including finance, technology and organisational restructuring. She has built expertise in streamlining operations and crafting initiatives to drive growth and profitability across multinational corporations.
Jentzen previously started her own business, serving as Founder and CEO of Innovative Impact Consulting. The business offers global business transformation consulting and interim C-level support for publicly listed and private clients. She focused on process, technology and organisational changes across global locations in Asia, India, EuroMea, Latam and North America. This position provides Jentzen with a vast range of experience assisting executive teams for a natural transition into her role as Interim CFO at Inspired Entertainment.
EMPLOYMENT
Jentzen’s journey started at Arinc Research Corporation from July 1988 to August 1990 in Pensacola, Florida, where she managed project management activities for an Air Force Special Operations project.
Subsequently, Marilyn transitioned to Grant Thornton, serving as a Senior Consultant from July 1992 to August 1994. Here, her role focused on financial, technological and process improvement projects.
Joining Georgia Pacific Corporation, Marilyn held the role of Coated Bleached Board Machine Operations Superintendent from August 1994 to August 1998. She oversaw the operations of a high-capacity coated board machine, managing production and maintaining quality standards. Simultaneously, she led maintenance activities for one of the largest containerboard mills globally.
Jentzen's career journey continued at Deloitte. As the Controller and Director of Operations from December 1999 to July 2002, Jentzen managed Southeast real estate and administrative functions.
Her tenure at Deloitte extended further as she took on leadership roles, notably as the Leader of Real Estate Services and Director of the Strategic Initiatives Management Group, from July 2002 to November 2008.
Jentzen's entrepreneurial achievements led her to establish CrownBridge Group, LLC, where she served as COO and Managing Director of Consulting from November 2008 to March 2010. This multinational company aimed to enhance legal services by providing consulting, technology and outsourcing solutions.
During this time, she also contributed to SIM Consulting as President and Owner, engaging in Finance Transformation and Donor Development Strategy projects for Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.
Transitioning to Thomson Reuters, Jentzen held various crucial positions. As VP of Sales and Marketing from April 2010 to April 2012, she spearheaded strategies to boost sales and align resources effectively.
Her role as VP of Strategy for Global Operations Centers from April 2012 to June 2014 in Philadelphia marked a significant phase in expanding her global experience. Here, Jentzen orchestrated operational strategies for nine centres across several continents.
Joining IGT as SVP of Finance from June 2014 to April 2015, Jentzen led global accounting, audit and tax activities, ensuring compliance across multiple regions and implementing advanced finance technologies.
Her career continued to evolve with subsequent roles at Contain and as the CEO and Founder of Innovative Impact Consulting.
In her most recent venture, she steps in as the Interim CFO at Inspired Entertainment, leveraging her operational expertise to guide the company through a transitional phase.
