MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS
Mann has had a broad and varied career within the gaming industry. Following his attainment of a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, Mann made his foray into the gaming world as a Deputy Manager at William Hill in Aberdeen.
Mann continued to work his way up the ranks within the industry, holding positions in Sales and Business Development at Betway, Spigo, and Wazdan.
Mann eventually found himself at Swintt, an iGaming software provider. There, he climbed his way up the corporate ladder until ultimately being appointed as the company’s CEO in August 2022; a position that he still holds today.
EMPLOYMENT
Mann graduated from Robert Gordon University with a BA in Journalism. Alongside his studies, Mann worked as the Deputy Manager at William Hill in Aberdeen, a position that he held for more than six years before leaving the company in February 2014.
Shortly after, Mann took on a new role as the Bet Settlement Executive for Betway, a position that involved managing data, error-spotting, and operating as the middleman between sports traders and the customer support team.
Next, Mann joined Spigo in September 2014. He entered the company as the International Customer and Content Manager but was quickly promoted to Head of Sales in 2015. Mann held the Head of Sales position for two and a half years before moving on in September 2017.
Mann’s next role saw him as the Sales and Business Development Manager for Wazdan. Here, Mann primarily focussed on sales, from initial outreach through to integration and launch, and signing deals with operators. He held this role for just shy of two years before stepping away in May 2019.
Immediately after, Mann joined Swintt as the Business Development Director, a position that he held until December 2020 when he was promoted to the role of Chief Commercial Officer. Mann held the CCO role for one year and nine months, earning the title of Chief Executive Officer in August 2022.
Taking on the CEO role, Mann replaced the company’s former leader, David Flynn, who now holds a seat on the firm’s Board and focuses his attention on his role as CEO of Glitnor Group, Swintt’s parent company.
With regard to Mann’s takeover as CEO, Flynn said: “While I’m incredibly proud of everything Swintt has achieved during my time as CEO, David’s promotion means I couldn’t be leaving the running of the company in safer hands. Over the past couple of years, David has proven he has the experience and expertise to flourish in the role while driving further growth for Swintt.”
“Over the past couple of years, we’ve witnessed incredible growth in a number of key markets and I’m very much looking forward to being able to continue contributing to this outstanding progress in my role as CEO.” David Mann
