MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS
Zorrilla has more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality and guest service industry. Further, her appointment into an executive role as Hotel Director in August 2024 meant that she was among the first leaders named ahead of the upcoming hotel tower opening.
EMPLOYMENT
Prior to taking on her position at Jamul Casino, Zorrilla worked at Yaamava Resort & Casino in Highland, California, where she served as the group’s Senior Manager of Hotel Operations. She worked with Yaamava Resort & and Casino for more than three years.
Yaamava Resort & Casino IT Business Services Manager Jorge Lopez shared his experience working with Zorrilla in a recent social media post.
He said, “I had the pleasure of working alongside Rocio at Montage Deer Valley while she had different roles in the operation as well as Yaamava Resort and Casino. She has always conducted herself in a professional manner while keeping a personable and approachable demeanor with both guests and team members.
“She has been able to create memorable experiences for many guest at both properties. She is a team leader and able to handle the dynamic and challenging pace of hospitality while maintaining a clear head and pleasant disposition.”
Zorilla also held the role of Front Officer Director at Sheraton Hotels & Resorts. She worked for the hotel chain from December 2019 to March 2021.
As the Hotel Director at Jamul, Zorrilla is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations and leading the teams through the opening of the location’s new tower scheduled to open in 2025.

PRODUCTS LAUNCHED
Jamul Casino recently announced plans to debut its new 200-room hotel tower early next year. The company anticipates a spring 2025 grand opening.
