EMPLOYMENT

Diallo Gordon began his career in 1997 with the United States Air Force, where he served as an Airborne Instrumentation and Telemetry Engineer. Over the next three and a half years, Gordon accumulated extensive flight hours on the EC-18 and EC-135 Advanced Range Instrumentation Aircraft (ARIA), contributing to various weapons and space research missions.

His work with sophisticated telemetry systems and his role in mission-critical operations for government agencies and allied countries set the foundation for his deep technical expertise and leadership abilities.

In 2000, Gordon transitioned to the US Department of Defence, where he took on the role of F-22 Instrumentation Engineer. For nearly three years, he contributed to advanced weapons research and safety operations, gaining further experience in high-stakes environments. His focus was on ensuring the safety and effectiveness of military equipment, which honed his skills in technical evaluation and operational management.

In 2003, Gordon moved into the gaming industry, accepting a position as a Systems Engineer with the Mississippi Gaming Commission. In this role, which he held for six months, he was responsible for the evaluation, testing and approval of gaming systems and slot products, marking his entry into the highly regulated world of gaming technology.

This role introduced him to the intricacies of gaming compliance, an area that would become increasingly relevant as his career progressed.

In 2004, Gordon joined Aristocrat Technologies, where he would spend the next five years. Initially hired as a Project Manager, he quickly advanced to become Director of Oasis Regional Support.

In this capacity, Gordon led professional services and technical account management for Aristocrat’s systems customers. His work involved managing large-scale projects across multiple regions, ensuring the smooth deployment of gaming systems while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

This period marked a significant growth phase in Gordon’s career, where he demonstrated his ability to lead teams and manage technical operations on a large scale.

In 2009, Gordon moved to Global Cash Access, now known as EVERI, where he began as VP of Information Technology and Operations. His expertise and leadership saw him promoted twice, first to SVP of Operations and then to Executive VP and GM.

During his tenure at EVERI, which lasted until 2014, Gordon played a pivotal role in the company’s operations, overseeing technology, service delivery and product management.

Notably, he led the acquisition and integration of Western Money Systems and MCA Processing into the Casino Xchange portfolio, ensuring a seamless transition and operational efficiency. His success in managing these complex mergers underscored his strategic acumen in business development and operational leadership.

In 2014, Gordon took on an entrepreneurial challenge by founding Phi Gaming, where he served as CEO for over seven years. At Phi Gaming, Gordon focused on developing innovative loyalty products for the B2B gaming market.

His leadership helped the company gain a strong foothold in the industry, offering loyalty solutions that attracted attention across the gaming sector. The company’s success ultimately led to its acquisition by Passport Technology in 2021, marking a major milestone in Gordon’s entrepreneurial career.

Following the acquisition, Gordon joined Passport Technology as Principal Consultant, advising the company on digital payments, loyalty, and innovation strategies. His contributions during this period, from October 2021 to January 2023, helped Passport integrate its new acquisitions and optimise its product offerings.

In February 2023, he was promoted to CPO, where he oversaw the development and enhancement of Passport’s product portfolio, ensuring the company continued to innovate and meet customer needs.

In February 2024, Gordon was appointed CEO of Passport Technology, where he currently leads the company. His role involves overseeing all aspects of the business, including product development, customer engagement and global expansion efforts.

Gordon’s leadership is characterised by his focus on innovation, employee empowerment, and strategic growth, positioning Passport Technology as a key player in the global gaming and payments industry.
