Lindwall’s expertise includes skills and experience in management, marketing, e-ommerce, online advertising, affiliate marketing, creative direction, business development, social media, SEO and epayments.
In November, Betsson extended its Super League sponsorship in Greece, continuing its support of the 30 teams participating in the championship throughout the 2022-2023 season.
After launching its Latin American centre in Colombia, Betsson signed ex-Colombian footballer and Sports Commentator Nicole Regnier as its Brand Ambassador.
In October 2022, Betsson’s brand StarCasino Sport became the new Premium Partner of Palermo FC.

In 2022, at the Global Gaming Awards London, Betsson was Shortlisted for three categories: “Online Casino of the Year”, “Online Sports Betting Operator of the Year” and “Socially Responsible Operator of the Year.”
In 2019, Pontus Lindwall scored second for the “Chief Executive” title at the Global Gaming Awards London.
EMPLOYMENT
During Lindwall's career, he has served as a Board Member of Net Entertainment (NetEnt), Nya Solporten Fastighets, Mostphotos and several other companies within the Betsson Group.
He is the Founder of NetEnt and the CEO and President of Cherryföretagen.
In October, Betsson AB went back on its decision to replace Lindwall as CEO in an extraordinary U-turn that saw Lindwall continue at the company's helm.
PRODUCTS LAUNCHED
In October 2022, Betsson launched a new YouTube series called ‘Wernbloom's Journey,’ featuring its Ambassador and former footballer Pontus Wernbloom.
Elsewhere in October, the group hosted a one-hour live webinar called “When Safer Gambling Becomes Personal.” It starred Mark Huis in’t Veld, a former compulsive gambler who narrated his personal story about overcoming addiction.
In March 2022, Betsson announced the launch of its mobile sportsbook app under the Betsafe brand in Colorado. It was launched in partnership with Dostal Alley Casino.
Among its array of other casino and sports betting products, Betsson is well known for its high growth in Latin American markets.
