Banzai Partners: Personalising the affiliate experience

Tony Banzai, CEO of Banzai Partners, sits down with Gambling Insider to discuss why flexibility and innovation are key factors for unlocking affiliate potential.

Thanks for joining us, Tony. Tell us a bit about your experience in iGaming?  

I first entered the iGaming industry in early 2019. I was invited to join a Russian bookmaker as CMO and, shortly after that, became Head of Affiliates at a well-known international brand. Before that, I had also gained extensive experience in marketing and advertising: I had been working in the events business for 12 years and even founded a multi-functional marketing agency that handled events, web development, ads production and more.

I started as a manager and eventually worked my way up to C-level positions. I have a lot of experience in advertising and marketing so, if required, I can organise a corporate event, code a website, or even draft a design. 

Can you tell us what Banzai Partners offers?  

As CEO of Banzai Partners, I am proud to say we offer a highly dynamic and innovative affiliate program for the iGaming industry. Banzai Partners is an affiliate program designed to provide partners with useful tools, data-driven insights and a streamlined platform for success in the iGaming sector. Our primary goal is to help affiliates unlock maximum earning potential while maintaining transparency and flexibility in every aspect of our collaboration.

We offer three flexible commission models; a Revenue Share structure with payouts of up to 50%, CPA deals customised based on traffic performance, alongside hybrid options combining the two. These models are supported by advanced analytics, allowing affiliates to track campaign performance by metrics such as GEO, device, traffic source and more.  

Our platform offers intuitive dashboards, detailed tracking via post-back integrations, and customisable affiliate links for precise campaign management. Additionally, we provide multilingual support at every stage, from promotional banners to tailored landing pages, ensuring engagement with audiences in every region.  

Beyond technology, we focus on affiliate support. Each partner is assigned a dedicated native-speaking account manager who assists with strategy, link optimisation, and performance reviews. With fast payouts, starting at a minimum balance of $50, and a variety of payment methods – including cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and USDT – we aim to make the financial side of the partnership as smooth as possible.  

Can you explain how your new feature RevShare postbacks works?  

RevShare postbacks are a core innovation we’ve recently introduced to enhance transparency and control for our affiliates promoting our in-house product, Banzai Bet. This feature allows affiliates to receive detailed, real-time data about player actions directly into their preferred tracking platform.  

Here’s how it works: when a referred player completes a revenue-impacting action – such as making their first deposit or engaging with our casino offerings – our system triggers a postback URL. This URL transmits critical information, such as the revenue generated, the player’s geographic location and the specific traffic source responsible for the conversion. This data is updated every hour and sent to the affiliate’s tracker, enabling them to analyse and optimise their campaigns efficiently. As you may know, it’s uncommon for casinos to share detailed information about their players’ profits and losses.

Our program has deliberately chosen to prioritise transparency

By openly providing this data, we aim to reassure our partners of our commitment to building trust and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships. The ability to track player activity at this granular level allows affiliates to identify high-performing traffic sources and fine-tune their strategies for better ROI. This feature reflects our commitment to providing affiliates with actionable insights and technology that simplifies campaign management while maximising revenue potential. For those new to postback setups, our dedicated account managers are always available to assist with implementation and optimisation.  

Could you tell us a bit more about your online casino Banzai Bet?  

Yes, as I mentioned earlier, this is a relatively new product on the market, and we’ve already integrated more than 14,000 games. Our site features a fast and easy registration process, after which players receive a welcome bonus as well as additional bonuses on their first five deposits.  

We aim to offer advantages like fast withdrawals, cash-back options, demo modes, a selection of payment methods and providers, and regular tournaments from top providers.  

Moreover, we offer a loyalty program for players, along with extra bonuses for birthdays and other special occasions. Very soon, we’ll be adding sports betting to the product.  

What was the thinking behind your recent rebrand?  

The rebranding of Banzai Partners was driven by our desire to refine and elevate our brand identity, ensuring it reflects the unique values and creativity at the heart of our program. We sought to amplify the recognition we had already gained by creating a comprehensive visual identity system centered around uniqueness and memorability.  

Key to this rebranding was the introduction of custom-designed characters with integrated gambling elements. These characters not only serve to visually differentiate us as a company, but also embody the playful, dynamic nature of the iGaming world. This approach ensures that our brand remains engaging and recognisable in a competitive marketplace.  

Beyond aesthetics, the rebranding also represents a strategic move to solidify our positioning as a forward-thinking affiliate program. It reflects our commitment to innovation and our focus on providing affiliates with a strong, cohesive brand they can confidently promote. 

Which traffic is of particular interest to your partners at the moment?  

Currently, we accept all traffic except fraudulent and motivated traffic. We mainly focus on SEO and social traffic. ASO and PPC sources are also performing well. The gambling market is highly dynamic right now due to constant changes in policies of the traffic sources and geopolitical situations in various countries. That’s why we are very adaptable and flexible in establishing terms and traffic sources for our partners.

We’re open to considering any format of collaboration

Are there any markets currently growing in popularity within affiliate marketing?  

We see great potential in CIS region, especially in Uzbekistan, which is currently our top GEO. India, Pakistan and Bangladesh are also performing exceptionally well, so we are heavily investing in these markets too.  

Other promising markets include Turkey and Azerbaijan. We are already working on adding these to our list of GEOs.  

What are Banzai Partners’ aims over the coming months?  

This year, we’ve launched the Banzai Bet product itself, attended numerous industry conferences with our booth, expanded our team, and completed a full rebranding of our affiliate program, featuring a new and memorable design.  

Our long-term goals include launching sports betting on Banzai, expanding into new GEOs and taking a leading position in the gambling market.
