Genius Sports collaborates with FanDuel on BetVision
FanDuel plans to integrate BetVision into its NFL offering to improve the live betting experience for users.
Genius Sports has announced an extended partnership with FanDuel Group, bringing forth the BetVision streaming solution. This collaboration builds on the existing agreement where Genius Sports provides FanDuel access to NFL Official League Data.
BetVision will enable FanDuel customers on mobile and tablet devices with features to improve their live NFL viewing within the FanDuel Sportsbook app.
The solution integrates live NFL streams with features like integrated odds, real-game stats, graphic overlays etc within each video stream.
FanDuel’s status as the exclusive distributor of NFL Official League Data, provided by Genius Sports, ensures continued access to the league’s proprietary Next Gen Stats (NGS) data and the official sports betting data feed.
In the future, BetVision is expected to offer additional features, including integrated betting odds, in-game betting alerts, data-driven augmentations and the ability to place live bets within the video player.
Mike Raffensperger, Chief Commercial Officer at FanDuel, stated: “Partnering with Genius will allow us to pair our product with access to BetVision to build a seamless live betting experience for fans.”
Mark Locke, Genius Sports CEO, emphasised the heightened demand for personalisation and interactivity in the industry, stating that BetVision revolutionises the live betting experience, driving fan engagement and accelerating the growth of in-game betting.
This recent development follows FanDuel’s strategic initiatives, such as the collaboration with the NBA, offering fans three months of access to the NBA League Pass and the partnership with Playtech to introduce branded live casino content in Canada.
