LiveScore has announced former Premier League star Dimitar Berbatov as its official European brand ambassador for both LiveScore Media and LiveScore Bet.
Off the back of this collaboration, Berbatov – known for his successful career with Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Fulham – will play a role in LiveScore’s campaigns, media appearances and content initiatives.
His appointment builds on his previous collaboration with LiveScore during the ‘Extra, Added Time’ campaign, which aimed to highlight the importance of mental health. As part of that initiative, LiveScore donated £250 ($309) to charity for every significant Premier League moment occurring after the 90th minute.
Commenting on the new appointment, LiveScore CEO Sam Sadi stated: “We are proud to welcome Dimitar Berbatov as our brand ambassador. His iconic status in European football, combined with his ability to inspire fans on and off the pitch, makes him the perfect fit for LiveScore.”
Berbatov himself added: “I’m excited to continue my partnership with LiveScore, following the success of our ‘Extra Added Time’ campaign. Together, we’ve shown that football can inspire positive change, and I’m excited to build on that momentum.
"As someone who has lived and breathed the sport, I’m proud to represent the brand and look forward to helping bring fans even closer to the game we all love.”
The appointment of Berbatov comes during a period of expansion for the company, which recently named Timothy Oh as its first Regional Director for Asia – a move signalling a step towards global growth despite recent organisational restructuring that included job cuts across multiple locations in late 2024.
