Spribe, the software developer behind the crash game Aviator, has announced former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina as its latest brand ambassador.
The partnership aims to expand Aviator’s presence among cricket fans in India through a series of campaigns over the next year.
Raina played an important role in India’s 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup victory and was a key player for the Chennai Super Kings in the IPL.
He was also the first Indian to score a T20I century and remains one of the tournament’s all-time leading run-scorers.
Commenting on the deal, David Natroshvili, CEO of Spribe, stated: “We are hitting for six with the partnership with Suresh, one of the most iconic and celebrated cricketers in India.
“Suresh was renowned for his explosive batting and thrilling style of play, and this makes him the perfect person to help us drive awareness of Aviator among cricket and sports fans in India."
Raina himself added: “I couldn’t be happier to help drive awareness of the game among my fans and followers. Spribe has some great campaigns planned for the months ahead and I look forward to working with the team to help Aviator really take flight among cricket fans in India and beyond.”
The partnership with Raina follows Spribe’s recent announcement of UFC Interim Heavyweight Champion Tom Aspinall as an Aviator ambassador.
