The assignment includes creative communication for the brands Svenska Spel, Eurojackpot, Lyckoplatsen, Triss, Keno and Lotto.
Svenska Spel is currently engaged in work to clarify its offering and reinforce its brand positioning. The company will continue to develop and manage a portfolio of gaming brands.
The agreement includes a broad portfolio of gaming brands. All tenderers were informed of the procurement decision on 4 April 2025.
Frank Hojem, Svenska Spel Communications Director, stated: “We would like to thank all bidders who submitted such high-quality bids. I would also like to welcome Nord DDB to Svenska Spel. This procurement includes both the brands in the Tur portfolio and the Svenska Spel brand.
Good to know: The contract covers a two-year period, with the possibility of two one-year extensions
"We look forward to working with DDB to strengthen the synergies between the product brands and Svenska Spel. Together with DDB, we want to further strengthen the Tur business and realise the movement and positioning of the Svenska Spel brand.”
Anders Hult, Nord DDB Head of Client Direction, added: “We are both proud and happy to continue our collaboration with Svenska Spel and have the opportunity to work together to develop some of Sweden's most classic and iconic brands. We obviously think it is extra fun to add the Svenska Spel brand to our work together.”
This comes after Svenska Spel's recent appointment of Amäni Radwan as new CFO, as well as Svenska Spel reporting its financial results for the fourth quarter of 2024, with operating profit up 10.3% to SEK 535m ($55.4m) in Q4 2024.
