MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS

In January 2023, Digitain expanded its European presence with the opening of a new office in Bucharest. 

Also in January 2023, Digitain announced several new features and updates to its platform and products, including new bonuses and jackpots for its sportsbook, and new virtual online and retail sports, all meant to enhance the player experience. 

2022 was a successful year for Digitain, as it launched some innovative products, such as a Sports Betting Jackpot, a feature that lets players bet on predefined events and win the jackpot if their bet wins. 

The list of innovative products also includes a new payment gateway with a full set of functionalities and more than 400 payment methods, as well as a new customer-focused Gli-Certified gaming platform called Centrivo. 

The company also launched an odds feed called OddsOn, expanded its virtual sports portfolio with eight additional games and established new collaborations and integrations with companies like Allbestbets, Spribe, Gaming Corps and more. 

In 2022, Digitain launched Centrivo, an all-in-one, easy to use, gaming platform designed o serve as a centralised hub for operations and provide a range of features and functionalities including management tools, brand management, data analysis, customer interface customisation and player profile management. 

Also in 2022, in July, Digitain signed a deal with Luís Figo, the Portuguese footballing legend. As per the agreement, Figo became the group’s Brand Ambassador. 

In 2020, Digitain launched the world’s first Table Football betting market, and in 2021, its sportsbook solutions received certification from Gaming Laboratories International. In the same year, Digitain was awarded an MGA licence. 

Also in 2020, Digitain relaunched an updated and redesigned version of its classic game: Rocketon. The updated version features 3D animated graphics and a soundtrack. 

EMPLOYMENT

On top of being the founder of Digitain, Vardanyan had significant involvement in the creation of other gaming companies including Galaxys in September 2021, the Armenia Wine Company in 2008 and TotoGaming in 2003. 

Founded in 2008, The Armenian Wine Company’s mission is to combine the national winemaking and brandy-making traditions with modern trends in an effort of promoting Armenia as the ‘cradle of winemaking’. 

TotoGaming is a local B2C Armenian operator which, along with the winery, proved highly useful for Vardanyan, as he used the experience he gained when creating and operating them to establish Digitain in 2015.

Interviews and public speeches

In April 2022, Vardges sat down with the GI team and discussed his expectations for the World Cup 2022 betting volumes and the wagering results of the AFCON (Africa Cup of Nations) tournament. 

Later the same year, in October, Vardges and the GI team had another encounter where the founder of Digitain spoke about changes the gaming industry went through during the last two decades.
