MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS
In January 2023, Fanatics Betting and Gaming, in partnership with the Washington Commanders, launched the Fanatics Sportsbook at FedExField in Maryland becoming the first legal sportsbook operator to open a retail sportsbook inside an NFL Stadium.
While under King’s leadership, FanDuel opened its first branded sportsbook at the Meadowlands Racetrack in New Jersey and in March 2019, another FanDuel sportsbook opened at Valley Forge Casino Resort in Pennsylvania.
In November 2018, while under King’s leadership, FanDuel became a sports betting partner and official daily fantasy sports partner of the National Hockey League.
Also in August 2018, FanDuel teamed up with Minute Media and created a new site for fans-generated fantasy and sports betting information called The Duel.
EMPLOYMENT
King is also a Senior Adviser at Dynasy Equity, the sports investment firm focused on purchasing minority interests in sports franchises.
Prior to working with Fanatics, King was FanDuel’s CEO for almost four years and the Regional Operation and Corporate Development President of Cottingham and Butler for over one year.
Between October 2014 and November 2016, he served as FanDuel’s CFO.
He worked with KKR Capstone for almost 11 years, serving as a Director for four years and five months, as Principal for four years and six months and as Associate for two years and one month.
During his career, he also served as an Operational Consultant for Accellent for two years and as a Business Analyst at McKinsey and Company for two years.
