Tahdooahnippah is known for her remarkable journey, from her entrepreneurial achievements to pioneering tribal programmes, making her a prominent figure in her field.
Her commitment extends beyond the gaming world. She has been the Johnson O'Malley chairperson for the Elgin School District in Oklahoma, where her work has led to significant contributions, such as securing federal funding for school supplies, books, sporting equipment and music equipment.
Tahdooahnippah's commitment to her tribe and community continued to shine. She initiated and implemented a Comanche Cares programme, dedicated to providing close to $1.5m in resources to Oklahoma communities and families.
Furthermore, she also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration in International Business and also has a Masters Degree in Hospitality Admin.
EMPLOYMENT
In 2006, Tahdooahnippah's career in the gaming industry began in 2006 when she joined the Comanche Nation Gaming Commission as the Compliance Director. Over the course of eight years, she played a pivotal role in ensuring the tribal, federal and state laws were adhered to across four tribally owned casinos.
In 2014, her journey led her to becoming Director of Training & Development at Comanche Nation Entertainment. From January 2018 to May 2019, Tahdooahnippah took on the role of GM of the Comanche Nation Spur Casino in Elgin, Oklahoma. Her leadership ensured that the casino operations ran smoothly and efficiently, providing an exceptional experience for guests.
In May 2019, Tahdooahnippah reached a new height in her career when she was appointed as the CEO of Comanche Nation Entertainment. As CEO, she now oversees the entire organisation, which includes four casinos and multiple travel plazas throughout southwest Oklahoma.
Her belief that hospitality is the cornerstone of success in the gaming industry is a driving force in her leadership. She has also taken significant steps to create and implement the company's first-ever training and development programme.
