Patrick Davis holds the position of President & CEO at the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC), assuming the role in August 2022. He initially joined the company in January 2008, for an overall tenure of over 15 years. During this time, he has overseen much of the development and delivery of the company’s iGaming products. Despite initially opening its doors in the mid-80's BCLC now offers online slots and sports betting among other online gambling amenities.

In the time he has been President & CEO of the BCLC, he has overseen partnerships and collaborations with suppliers including Light & Wonder and Evolution. He has also overseen the launch of new BCLC products, including Set for Life in collaboration with Instant Win Gaming (IWG).

Before becoming President & CEO, Davis played a key role in BCLC's technology landscape as the Vice President of Business Technology and Chief Information Officer (CIO) from April 2016 to August 2022. During his tenure, he led technological advancements that allowed for the integration of cutting-edge solutions to enhance the gaming experience for players.

Before taking on the role of Vice President, Davis served as the Director of Enterprise Architecture at BCLC, where he designed and implemented robust technology frameworks to support the organization's strategic objectives. He held this position between November 2014 to March 2016.

In the close to seven years leading up to this change in position, Davis was the Program Management Office Director for BCLC.

Outside of the BCLC, Davis became a Board Member of the ILC in September 2022. The ILD was founded in 1976 to operate lottery games across Canada, which it still does today. The company is owned by five provincial lottery commissions, including the BCLC and Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG).

Beyond his professional endeavours, Davis contributes to his community through various volunteer roles. As the Board Chair at Kamloops Innovation and a member of the Software Engineering Program Advisory Committee at Thompson Rivers University, he uses his leadership and knowledge to support local initiatives. Additionally, he promotes accessible employment opportunities through the Presidents Group.
