MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS
With more than 25 years of experience in the payments industry, Carcillo has had a broad career across many companies. He has held several management and C-Suite roles during this time and brings this experience to his role as CCO of Koin.
From 1997, Carcillo has played roles as CIO, Six Sigma Leader, CEO, Chief Payment Officer, Managing Director and most recently CCO. He has many years of payments industry knowledge and has similar experience in business and strategy.
EMPLOYMENT
Scott Carcillo began his career at GE Energy Services in 1997. Here, he was able to become CIO and Six Sigma Leader, positions that saw him taking on responsibility for all merger and acquisition efforts.
After this Carcillo had a 2-year position at Digex, a hosting services provider, where he was again assigned as the CIO and Six Sigma Leader of the company.
In 2003 Carcillo migrated to Sun Chemical, a producer of printing inks and pigments. He worked at Sun Chemical for 3 years before moving on in 2006.
Wynn Resorts Las Vegas was Carcillo’s next employer, where he spent two years as CIO. The resort is one of several owned around the world by Wynn Resorts, with the operator currently being one of the world's leading by revenue.
From 2008 to 2010 Carcillo worked as the CIO at Ambrose before taking on a new position as CEO at Mcube; a position that he held between 2010 to 2013.
It was around this time that Carcillo made the shift towards focusing more heavily on the payment industry and in 2013 he was appointed as the CIO at Merchant Link, a provider of cloud-based payment gateways. Carcillo worked in this role for more than five years before leaving in 2018 for a year-long position at FreedomPay.
Afterward Carcillo transferred to Shift4, a technology business focused on the payments industry. He worked here for 2 years as CISO, CIO and Chief Payments Officer.
After serving as a General Manager at Blankfactor from 2022 to 2023, Carcillo was eventually swooped up as the Chief Commercial Officer for Koin in November 2023. Here, Carcillo has expressed that his goal is to; “bring cashless to the gaming industry by leveraging over 15 years of payments, digital and hospitality experience”.
