Michael Daly

Former Catena Media CEO Michael Daly is highly experienced in developing new markets, with a focus on iGaming and the Casino Industry. He has a 15+ year track record of launching and managing new, highly profitable, divisions for large and small global organisations. It was announced on 27 February 2024 that he would step down from his position.

Major Achievements

In November 2022, Catena Media announced the sponsorship of the IFR Champions Group: Esports Edition, a tournament that united the iGaming, Fintech and Real Estate industries.

In Q4 2021, the group announced high growth in the North American market driven by launches in Michigan, Virginia and Arizona, as well as by the acquisitions of Lineups.com and i15 Media assets.

Catena Media is by one of the market leaders within the affiliate sector and Daly has helped the company transition into the North American market.

In January 2022, Daly was shortlisted in the Executive category at the Global Gaming Awards 2022.

Employment

Daly worked with Catena Media for over four years. Daly was the CEO of the group from March 2021 until February 2024. He was previously VP North America for one year, General Manager Americas for six months and General Manager US for one year and eight months.

Daly also served as EVP North America at GAN between June 2015 and January 2018, where he oversaw the North American and Australasian online real money and social casino business for the company.

Daly was CEO at Automated Cash Systems (ACS) for one year and six months, where he was in charge of managing and reorganising technology payments.

Between May 2012 and January 2014, he served as VP for Online Gaming SHFL, where he directed a growing global team of engineering, product managers, business developers and sales professionals.

Prior to that, Daly served at Bally Technologies for 6 years and two months as Senior Director Interactive Division, Senior Director Business Development, Senior Director Field Operations and Product Manager.

Between 1995 and 2003, Daly served as Surface Officer at Special Warfare where he was in charge of the Special Operation Boat unit.

Products Launched

In April 2023, Catena Media partnered with Lee Enterprises. As the exclusive online sports betting and casino gaming partner, Catena Media will be responsible for working on frontpagebets.com.

In November 2022, Catena Media launched online sports betting affiliation in Maryland, as the US state officially opened for regulated online sports betting operations.

In Q3 2021, the group also launched licensed online sports betting operations in Kansas and Arizona.
