MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS
Chambers has had a varied and successful professional journey with a career that has been characterised by her ability to drive innovation, optimise operations and lead complex organisational changes across industries.
Having served in executive positions for a range of well-known companies, her leadership in these roles has always been underscored by her ability to foster innovation, develop management teams and drive strategic realignment to deliver growth.
Her recent appointment at Allwyn represents the culmination of an impressive career, and her expertise in this new role – combined with her strategic vision – hopes to shape the future of the organisation going forward.
EMPLOYMENT
Chambers began her professional journey in accounting at Cargill Enterprises in Moscow, developing a foundation in financial analysis and operational management.
In 2005 she started working with British American Tobacco (BAT), where she held a series of roles within the organisation’s global operations.
By 2013, she was appointed Global PMO Manager for the company’s TaO Programme, a £1.2bn ($1.52bn) transformation initiative aimed at optimising BAT’s operations globally. In this role, Chambers refined deployment methodologies, implemented governance structures and oversaw program metrics – ensuring alignment with BAT’s long-term strategy.
Chambers later took on the role of Business Change Lead for the TaO program, where she successfully led organisational effectiveness efforts across 25 markets, achieving efficiency gains and accelerated benefits delivery.
Her success at BAT led to her appointment as Director of Change and Programme Management at Walgreens Boots Alliance in 2016. Here, she led a major strategic initiative to optimise the Pharmaceutical Wholesale Division following M&A activity. Her contributions included achieving $40–$60m in initial benefits by driving process improvements and embedding new business solutions across global markets.
In 2018, Chambers joined William Hill as Transformation Director, where she established a centralised change management team to oversee over 250 transformation initiatives aimed at delivering £150m in annual benefits. Recognised for her ability to drive operational improvement, she quickly rose through the ranks to become CEO Chief of Staff and later Chief Operations Officer. In her COO role, Chambers streamlined global customer operations, achieving a 40% cost reduction and improvements in customer experience.
In 2022, following William Hill’s acquisition by 888 Holdings, Chambers was appointed COO and CEO Chief of Staff for the combined entity. She led the post-merger integration, overseeing a global team of over 2,000 staff. Her achievements included driving a 30% cost reduction in customer operations for the UK market, enhancing customer interaction channels through digital transformation and implementing operational strategies that improved efficiency by 20%.
In 2023 Chambers served as Director of Strategy and Transformation at Virgin Media O2, where she implemented a channel strategy and improved commercial outcomes.
Finally, in November 2024, Allwyn appointed Chambers as Group Chief Transformation and Corporate Development Officer. In this role, she leads transformative growth initiatives and oversees a range of strategic projects.
