With over 15 years of experience in managing international projects and leading product design and development, Ghulyan has a comprehensive understanding of the iGaming industry.  

Throughout his career, Ghulyan has demonstrated a consistent ability to drive innovation while maintaining a focus on customer needs and regulatory compliance – skills that have proven invaluable during his long stint with Digitain.  

His background in economics, business management and behavioral studies – combined with his track record of implementing organisational change management – positions him well to lead Relum through its next phase of market expansion in his new role as CEO. 

Ghulyan’s journey began with an academic foundation, earning a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Fox Valley Technical College in 2010 where he graduated with distinction. He furthered his education with a master’s degree in Economics from the American University of Armenia in 2015, establishing a strong foundation for his future leadership roles. 

Ghulyan’s professional career gained momentum in the tech and iGaming sectors. In 2018, he joined Digitain as an IT Change Manager in Yerevan. This role marked the beginning of a long and impactful tenure with the organisation. 

As his career progressed, Ghulyan took on increasingly significant roles at Digitain. His appointment as Product Manager from 2018 to 2022 saw him lead initiatives to enhance the company’s offerings and reinforce its position in the iGaming industry.  

Between 2020 and 2023, he held dual roles as Chief Customer & Process Officer and Chief Customer Care Officer, where he prioritised improving customer experience and optimising organisational processes.  

In July 2022, Ghulyan’s expertise in product development and strategic planning culminated in his appointment as Chief of Product. In this role, he continued to drive innovation while ensuring that the company’s products met the evolving needs of its customers and the market.  

By December 2023, Ghulyan's contributions to Digitain were recognised with his promotion to Group Chief Strategy Officer – a role that positioned him at the helm of Digitain’s strategic direction. In this capacity, Ghulyan oversaw the implementation of group-wide strategies and fostered collaboration across teams. 

In December 2024, Ghulyan reached a new milestone in his career when he was appointed CEO of Relum, a casino engine solution provider under the Digitain umbrella. This appointment came after seven years of progressive leadership within the Digitain organisation, where he has consistently demonstrated his ability to drive growth and innovation.

As CEO of Relum, Ghulyan now oversees the company’s operations during a phase of market expansion, with a focus on strengthening partnerships and scaling the business to meet the demands of high-growth markets.
