Regognised for his creative vision and expertise in driving brand growth, Hurbis is set to play a pivotal role in advancing BetMGM’s position as a brand in the gaming industry.

Hurbis’ career includes notable tenures at Rocket Mortgage, Fiat and Alfa Romeo, where he demonstrated a strong ability to lead innovative campaigns and build brand partnerships. His work has earned him numerous accolades, including Clio Awards and recognition as a Top Marketer by OnCon Icon Awards.

Throughout his career, Casey Hurbis has garnered recognition for his contributions to the marketing industry. His achievements include:   

- Winning a Clio Award for the Jason Momoa Super Bowl commercial while at Rocket Mortgage.   

- Launching the Rocket Mortgage Classic, a professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour.   

- Earning the 2021 OnCon Top Marketer Award for his innovative leadership at Rocket Mortgage.   

- Overseeing creative campaigns that brought together high-profile brand ambassadors, including collaborations with BetMGM’s creative agency of record for Super Bowl projects.   

EMPLOYMENT

Casey Hurbis began his career in advertising at BBDO Worldwide in 1993. Over 17 years, he rose through the ranks to become SVP, Management Supervisor, leading high-profile campaigns for automotive clients and managing partnerships with major sports teams and events.   

In 2011, Hurbis transitioned to FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, where he served as Head of Brand Communications for the FIAT Brand in North America. During his five-year tenure, he led the brand’s re-entry into the US market after a 28-year hiatus, achieving significant sales and awareness milestones. His campaigns included two highly acclaimed Super Bowl commercials and partnerships with high-profile brands like Beats by Dr Dre and Eataly.   

In 2017, Hurbis joined Rocket Mortgage as CMO. Over seven years, he led a team of over 300 marketing professionals, driving innovation and creative excellence across 14 Rocket brands.  

Hurbis was instrumental in the company’s acclaimed Super Bowl advertising campaigns, securing back-to-back USA Today Ad Meter wins. He also played a pivotal role in developing Rocket’s sports partnerships, including the Rocket Mortgage Classic PGA Tour event.   

Beyond his corporate roles, Hurbis has been deeply involved in professional and community organisations. He has served as President of Adcraft Detroit since 2013, supporting the growth of marketing professionals across the Detroit area. Additionally, he has contributed his expertise as a board member for Nano Magic, the Michigan State University Alumni Board, and the Detroit Metro Sports Commission.   

In December 2024, Hurbis assumed the role of CMO at BetMGM, where he is tasked with driving the brand’s growth and expanding its audience in the competitive sports betting and iGaming sectors. His creative leadership and extensive marketing expertise position him as a transformative figure for BetMGM’s next chapter.
