MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS

Having joined Digitain back in 2016, Vardanyan has spent nearly a decade occupying a range of roles within the company – climbing the ranks to ultimately land her spot at the helm of Digitain’s Maltese operations within 9 years of joining the company.  

Her leadership approach emphasises innovation and collaboration, and – as she articulated in her appointment statement – her focus within the new CEO role is on building a scalable operation that “delivers unmatched value to our partners and establishes Digitain as a leader in the global iGaming market.” 

EMPLOYMENT

Vardanyan began her professional journey in 2012 as a Client Advisor at ProCredit Bank in Yerevan, Armenia. Over the course of nearly four years, she honed her skills in financial analysis, client relations and operational management, building a foundation for her future roles in finance and business strategy.  

Following on from this, Vardanyan joined Digitain as a Financial Analyst in April 2016, marking the start of her significant tenure with the company. 

At Digitain, Vardanyan quickly made her mark, leveraging her expertise in financial planning and analysis to drive success within the company. Subsequently, she was promoted to the position of Financial Reporting Analyst in June 2018 – a role that saw her enhancing reporting frameworks and ensuring operational efficiency.  

Her performance in this role earned her another promotion in November 2019 to Head of the International Financial Planning and Operations Department. For over five years, Vardanyan led this department, overseeing financial operations and contributing to Digitain’s international growth.   

In early 2025, Vardanyan’s career reached new heights when she was appointed as CEO of Digitain Malta – a role that represents a culmination of her near-decade spent with the company. As CEO, Vardanyan is tasked with overseeing all of Digitain’s Maltese operations, focusing on building scalable frameworks, fostering partnerships and positioning Digitain Malta as a hub for the company’s global strategy.   

Regarding Vardanyan’s appointment to the new role, a spokesperson for Digitain stated:
