Among his achievements, Lu Tsai played a vital part in the pre-opening of Harrah’s, Grand Lisboa Palace, and Mohegan Inspire, and was responsible for leading single property gross gaming revenue at City of Dreams and Galaxy Macau.

EMPLOYMENT

Lu Tsai began his career as a Casino Marketing rep at the Monte Carlo Resort and Casino in 1996, before moving on to a new role as NCM at the Las Vegas Hilton. During his year-long tenure in this role, he assisted in the development and implementation of customer experience from the hospitality side.

In 1999, Tsai departed this role for a new position at Harrah’s Entertainment, a hotel and casino chain operated by the internationally renowned Caesars Entertainment.

For the next 8 years, he steadily made his way up the corporate ladder at Harrah’s, occupying a number of executive roles ranging from Casino Marketing Manager to Director of Casino Marketing and, finally, ending his time there as Director of Asian Marketing – Las Vegas Region. As part of his time at Caesars, Tsai oversaw both Asian marketing and overall casino marketing strategies, alongside spearheading multicultural marketing initiatives at the company.

His professional journey then took him to Asia, where he occupied various high-profile roles at prominent resorts and casinos in Macau, Vietnam, and South Korea, where he concluded his time on the continent by acting as Director of Marketing Operations at INSPIRE Entertainment Resort.

Now, Lu Tsai is stepping into an exciting new role as VP of Asian Player Development at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa. Here, he will be reporting directly to the resort’s SVP of Marketing, Mikhail Gaushkin. Lu Tsai will be tasked with leading strategic initiatives aimed at cultivating and expanding player growth within Asian communities.
