Operator Betway will return to tennis, after agreeing to become the official sports betting partner of the Miami Open.

With the agreement in place, the bookmaker will see its brand presented courtside and digitally when the two-week event takes place at Miami Garden’s Hard Rock Stadium.

The tournament is likely to boost Betway’s presence as it features some of the top men’s and women’s tennis players.

The deal sees Betway returning to tennis after previously working on tournaments like The Davis Cup and Tie break Tens.

The operator has said it is committed to sponsoring the biggest sporting events across the world. The brand has agreed sponsorships in football, darts, racing and boxing.

Anthony Werkman, Betway CEO, said: "We're incredibly excited to be announcing our sports betting partnership with the Miami Open.

"As a globally recognised brand, we're excited to be involved with one of the most prestigious tennis tournaments in the world, which plays host to some huge names in the sport."

This agreement comes after Betway had announced its renewal with Berlin International Gaming earlier this week.

The Miami open will start on 22 March, ending on 4 April.
