Nuvei granted Event Wagering and Sports Fantasy Supplier licence in Arizona

Nuvei Corporation’s wholly owned subsidiary has been granted an Event Wagering and Fantasy Sports Supplier licence in Arizona.

Arizona pinned

Since online sports betting became legal in Arizona in April 2021, regulated sportsbooks and sportsbooks apps have formally begun operating in the state on 9 September, just prior to the kickoff of the 2021 NFL season.

Thanks to approval from the Arizona Department of Gaming, Nuvei can further its online sports betting presence in the US market by expanding to another state.

The company’s industry expertise and solutions, including a range of payment methods, optimised transaction flows and instant payouts, can offer state operators more revenue possibilities.

Nuvei is a payment technology partner to several brands.

Its proprietary platform provides pay-in and payout capabilities, connecting merchants with their customers in 204 markets worldwide, with local acquiring in 45 markets.

Using the support of more than 500 local and alternative payment methods, 210 currencies, including 100 cryptocurrencies, merchants do not risk losing any payment opportunity that comes their way.
