With PlayOn’s purchase now complete, Scientific is ready to roll out its new product in force. Standing for Access To on Demand Money, AToM lets players access funds without leaving their seats while participating in live table games.
According to SG, there are no back-end or out-of-network transaction fees, all players need to do is swipe their debit card and enter their pin to use their funds.
In addition, casino operators receive real-time financial data from all gaming transactions made using AToM.

By integrating PlayOn, now AToM, into its cashless payments infrastructure, Scientific is hoping to augment its existing product portfolio. This includes its Unified Wallet, a one-stop shop solution that allows players to access funds for electronic gaming machines and tables via a mobile app.
It is currently live across 650 table games in California, Nevada and New Mexico and has received approval for use in New Jersey. AToM is already present at 20 properties in North America, including Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in Reno and Palace Station Hotel and Casino.
PlayOn is Scientific’s latest purchase in a series of strategic acquisitions that has seen it bring various brands under its umbrella, such as Swedish developer ELK Studios and live casino supplier Authentic Gaming.
