SIS, a division of sports data provider Sportradar, offers services designed to uphold the integrity of sporting events by delivering analysis on irregular betting patterns and potential evidence of corruption.
During 2021, SIS reported over 900 suspicious matches to its partners, with a total of 6,900 witnessed over the last 17 years.
As part of its deal with Athletes Unlimited, it will protect women’s sporting competitions from match-fixing and corruption through a four-point process.
This includes the use of its Universal Fraud Detection System to monitor and report on suspicious betting patterns, providing a series of education and prevention services, conducting an integrity audit on Athletes Unlimited’s current policies and assisting with any potential integrity threats.
